JUICING VERSUS EATING

"Fruit can be eaten whole, blended as a smoothie or juiced, I always feel it is better to blend and consume the whole fruit as it allows us to obtain
and utilise all the nutrients and healing properties the fruit has to offer.

Juicing is beneficial for those with weak or impaired digestion.

Raw juices, although containing most of the amazing properties of solid food, place the minimum strain on the digestive system.
The nutrients are also absorbed into the bloodstream almost as soon as they reach the stomach and small intestine.

Due to their high digestibility, juices have been used for many years to help cure many serious ailments, such as Cancer, arthritis and Diabetes.

Also allowing those unable to consume solid food to still receive maximum nutrition.

The less energy required by digestion of food the more energy is freed up for the body to heal itself. Therefore we must create an environment
that ensures maximum energy and therefore maximum health!

However the benefits of consuming the whole fruit or vegetable ensures the consumption of fibre from the pulp and skin. Fibre is essential but
unfortunately lacking in most of our diets causing unnecessary constipation, indigestion, bad breath and a sluggish system. Fibre helps to clear
the colon and maintain regularity.

Drinking your food helps to hydrate the body, however drinking at least a litre and a half of pure water is still essential for flushing toxins out
of the body and activating the lymphatic system, our main transport system (Receives waste products of metabolism from the blood)."
